The interesting thing about the coleslaw hotdog is that this is apparently a standard, fairly popular topping in Georgia (where my girl-dream, or at least her accent, is from) and the Carolinas. I had no idea about this before I met her.

Little weird details like that help carve out her own special place in my mind.

Independent characters are awesome. Have to say, though. Coleslaw on a hot dog. That’s a pretty darn creative character right there.

One of the great things about my girl-dream is the sheer amount of independence she has, outside of my headspace. I’d never heard of coleslaw on a hot dog either, before I met her. Go figure.

Coleslaw?! Now that is one I’ve never heard of. …Must get friends to try this out.

But… ketchup? I find most ketchups to be very bland in their sweetness. Ketchup goes on fries.

I tease, of course. There are a lot of unaccountable regionalisms in hot-dog land. My girl-dream, being from that part of the country, puts coleslaw on hers sometimes (which is surprisingly tasty). Hot dogs are very democratic that way.

There is actually a pub around here that makes their own(!!!) highly fantastic ketchup, and I will put it on just about anything I get there (except hot dogs, though I have considered it at least once). If you make it out for YaoiCon one of these years, I’ll take you there.
