Out of the Closet

Hello everyone!

Traditionally, the computer running 1000Gears has lived in Adrian’s closet. Lately there have been some problems with this living arrangement, so we have moved the website to another computer, which does not live in Adrian’s closet, but does promise to be much more reliable. So far it looks like nothing was broken in the move. It is possible that we still have a few bugs scurrying around, though. If you notice one, please let us know. I will try to find it and hit it with a stick.

Thank you,
~Catboy

So far no errors. …Though it’s been more than a week since the update…

But woohoo for moving to a better computer, yes?

    • Oh, yes, and the timing was very fortuitous. This Monday, someone at AT&T accidentally disconnected Adrian’s apartment from the Internet. He has been disconnected for about two days now, which is not very good service on AT&T’s part. I think it was only a mistake, but Adrian wonders if it were not semi-intentional, because they do not like independent providers like Adrian uses.

Still, two days of outage is not necessarily a bad thing for Adrian, because it reduces the number of distractions he has for his writing time. It would be very bad for the website, though.

      Always,

Bit of a double-edged sword then, huh? Yay writing time, but neigh to the website.

Well, hope AT&T gets sorted out eventually. In the mean time, writing can get done~!
